How Rively finds winning products
Most dropshipping product lists show you what's popular. Rively runs a weekly pipeline that tries hard to reject every product, and only publishes what survives.
The weekly pipeline
- 01
Discovery
We scan TikTok, TikTok Shop, Amazon New Releases, the Meta Ad Library, best-sellers from small Shopify stores and TikTok trends for products getting unusual attention.
- 02
Trend & novelty filter
Is interest rising or already fading? Is it new to US shoppers, or already in every big retailer? Declining or stale products are rejected here.
- 03
Supplier & US margin check
We find real suppliers, work out the landed cost, and compare it with real US marketplace prices. The target is a 50%+ gross margin.
- 04
Ads & marketplace saturation
We check how many advertisers are running ads, and how crowded Amazon and TikTok Shop already are. Locked-up markets are rejected.
- 05
Customer research
We read real Amazon reviews, Reddit threads and search data to understand what buyers love, hate and still need.
- 06
Triple validation
Three separate checks: an evidence audit (is every claim sourced?), a saturation red team (can we prove it's too late?) and a decision committee.
- 07
Weekly Winners
Only products that pass everything become Weekly Winners, up to three a week. Close calls go on the watchlist with the missing evidence listed.
Also in every report
Proven Sellers
Products already making money for other sellers — Meta ads running 60+ days or 1,000+ sold on TikTok Shop US, with at least 40% US margin. More competitive, so each one shows how a small seller can stand out.
Opportunity Radar
Around 50 products we screened that week, with the signals behind them. Early signals only, clearly marked as not validated.
Rejected products
Every report lists what failed and why — declining trend, low margin, supplier risk or saturation — so you can see the filter working.

Our rules
- No invented data. Every number names where it came from.
- Missing data shows as UNKNOWN, never a guess.
- No forced winners. Some weeks have none, and we say so.
Questions
Is Rively good for dropshipping beginners?+
Yes. Each card explains the product, the customer, the margin and the risks in plain English, plus a simple test plan, so you don't need research experience.
Where does the data come from?+
Public sources: TikTok, TikTok Shop US, Amazon US, the Meta Ad Library, Google Trends, Reddit, AliExpress suppliers and small Shopify stores. Every number on a card names its source.
What happens when data is missing?+
It shows as a grey UNKNOWN chip. We never invent a number to make a card look complete.
Why are there weeks with no winner?+
Because we don't force winners. If nothing passes every check, the report says zero, and you still get the watchlist, proven sellers and rejections.
Which market is the research for?+
The US market first. Cards also score Canada, Australia, the UK, Europe and New Zealand.
Is this a guarantee of sales?+
No. Rively checks public data at one point in time. It is research, not financial or business advice.
